common marijuana laced products
TRANSCRIPT
Creating edible marijuana products which look like real, commercially produced products, but made with cannabis or THC is becoming more and more common.
What was once "pot laced" brownies or cookies are now commercially produced with all the same packaging methods of a real candy manufacturer. Unfortunately, it is difficult to know the potency of the product as there is no government regulation of the ingredients. The potency is extremely difficult to guestimate as it really depends on how the marijuana was produced. In-door growths are more potent as the grower can easily control the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) potency, whereas Mexican produced marijuana has a lower THC level and contains a variety of pesticides.
Common names of marijuana laced products are: "Candy Kush," "Pot Tarts," "Chronic Candy," "Rastateers," "Twixed," "Munchy Way," "Rasta-Reeses," "Keef Kat," "Buddahfinger," "Tri-Chrome Crunch," "Stoners," "Mr. Greenbud," "Munchy Way," "Puff-a-Mint Pattie," "Stoney Rancher," "Purple Haze," "Acapulco Gold,”"Rasta."
