ent to Caring

In the Roanoke Valley, corporations and businesses are commit-ted to caring—committed to helping area nonprofit organizations through the donation of time, money and services. Their caring is a commitment to their communities and to the quality of life that we all enjoy.

Without the generosity of these com-panies donating to the various nonprofit organizations, clothing, feeding, nurturing and reaching out to those who would be at risk without someone to guide them down the right path would be nearly im-possible.

To recognize the outstanding efforts of these companies, as well as the nonprofit organizations they assist, The Daily Her-ald offers this special section, “Commitment to Caring — Working Toward Tomorrow...Today.” In addition to the profiles of companies

that are committed to caring for the community, this section also provides information about the groups that are able to supply aid

to those in need. This section is much more than a fact-filled

information package, it also is a medium for giving. By appearing in this section, each company has made an additional investment in the community. The Daily Herald will con-tribute 25 percent of the proceeds of each ad on behalf of the company to their selected non-profit organization.

Everyone can be proud and grateful that we live and work in a place where responsible corporate citizenship is taken so seriously.
