Note
There are differinginstructions for 2N redundantunits, N+1 redundant units,SN+ units and non-redundantunits in Commissioning IPA-RNC .
First run diagnostics on SFUs, then continue withMXUs. Then perform diagnostics for all otherunits.
Note
The TBU units (connected to
OMU 0/1) and all unitsconnected to SFU and MXUunits must be tested twice:First when the state of theOMU 0 / SFU 0 / MXU x isWO-EX, then when the stateof the OMU 1 / SFU 1 / MXU1 is WO-EX. MXU x is theMXU connected to the unit tobe tested.

Note
In some cases, one sub-rack slot may house different functional unitsdepending on the configuration of the network element. For detailed informationon the equipping of sub-racks in different configurations, see IPA-RNCEngineering Description, Equipment Lists for RNC196, Equipment Lists forRNC450, and Equipment Lists for RNC2600 .
