Monday, July 24, 2017 Dear Property Owner: This letter is to notify you that the East Skokie Drainage District will conduct a presentation on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Training Room located at the Lake Forest Municipal Services Building, 800 North Field Drive, Lake Forest, IL 60045 to provide information and obtain public comment on preliminary plans showing possible stabilization methods to restore and prevent future erosion of the stream bank within the Skokie River right-of-way located between Westleigh Road and Old Elm Road in Lake Forest, Illinois. This presentation will take place as part of the District’s monthly business meeting which will start at 6:30 p.m. The proposed preliminary plans present different stabilization methods depending on the dynamics of the stream hydraulics and height of the adjacent banks within the drainage way. The intent of this meeting is to receive feedback and to determine the level of interest from adjoining property owners for the District to pursue stream bank stabilization efforts in the described area. Your attendance at this public meeting is welcomed and encouraged. Additional information will be posted on the East Skokie Drainage

Dear Property Owner:
