ALTAI Technologies Limited • A start-up high-tech venture in Hong Kong

• Licensed ASTRI’s Super WiFi base-station technology in April 2006

• Facilitated by ASTRI in obtaining US$10M series A funding in 2006

• Global deployments in Malaysia, the US, Caribbean, Africa, Hong Kong and the Mainland

• Currently employs about 100 people in Hong Kong and Shenzhen

• Home-grown anti-shaking + auto-focus compact camera module

– World’s smallest (2009): 8.5x8.5x5.8 mm3

– 8 US patents filed (5 granted)

• Exclusive licensing in September 2010

• The licensing served as a catalyst of establishment of AP Photonics in Hong Kong

• Founded its headquarters in Hong Kong Science Park and planned to create more than 40 employments in Hong Kong

• Adopted in a model of a top smart-phone brand newly launched in March 2013.

New Company: Innofidei Technology Ltd (2012)

• Licensed ASTRI’s Baseband 4G LTE User Equipment Technologies in Aug 2012.

• Established a R&D centre in Hong Kong with 26 core R&D team members transferred from ASTRI.

• With the ASTRI’s LTE Baseband technology, Innofidei successfully bidded the National Science and Technology Major Project (国家科技重大专项).

• In 2011, ASTRI/Innofidei’s was 1 of 3 vendors that was successfully elected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Mobile to supply TD-LTE terminals for China Mobile in 7 cities in Mainland.

• Jointly developed world’s 1st TD-LTE data card System-on-Chip (SoC), which was showcased in China Mobile’s TD-LTE trial network in World Expo 2010
