Conventional fixed speed EC motors offer energy savings of approximately 45% over our standard PSC motors.
SmartSpeed technology further enhances savings vs. the fixed speed EC motor by an additional 28%. Systems connected to evaporators utilizing SmartSpeed technology will benefit with extra energy savings up
to 10% on compressor consumption.
Data based on a typical freezer application with a 3HP low temp
condensing unit and 4 fan KLP evaporator. Similar results can be expected with
KMP evaporators. See product documentation for details.
SmartSpeed Highlights
• Refrigeration = Full Speed = 60W Per Motor
• Off Cycle = Low Speed = 13W Per Motor
• No Complex Controls, No Cost Adder,
Simple To Understand

Electric Defrost Made Smarter & SimplerIt’s Smart
• Electronically Controls:
• Box Temperature
• Defrost Initiation
• Defrost Termination
• Fan Delay
It’s Simple
• 2 Pipes, 2 Wires, It’s Done!
• Eliminates wiring back to
condensing unit
• Factory Pre-set to suit most
applications
• Simple user interface
KeepRite Refrigeration has taken the concept of electronic controls and made it simple. SmartVap IITM is a simple control
located in the evaporator that controls box temperature and all aspects of the electric defrost.
By eliminating the time clock and heater contactor usually located in the condensing unit, the SmartVap IITM makes wiring
the refrigeration system a breeze.
PLUSAs an electronic controller, SmartVap IITM allows for more accurate temperature control in the box.
SmartVap IITM is field adjustable for unique applications, and has a user lock option that will prevent unauthorized
adjustments to settings.
Evaporator includes factory installed:
• Selected Nozzle
• Thermostatic Expansion Valve
• Solenoid Valve
• Disconnect Switch (optional)
SmartVap IITM Controller replaces these components
