from an historic retail building Hub Collins Street is located in the iconic George’s Building at the stunning ‘Paris end’ of Collins Street, and offers premium coworking spaces in beautiful surrounds.

The historic building has been renovated to the high design standards of the Hub brand; offering private office suites, private offices, dedicated desks and hotdesk workspaces for members.

The redevelopment of the old retail space has retained the history of the building with high ceilings, period features now subtly merged with contemporary design to offer functional and practical spaces for members.

to createLPA was engaged by ASTON Consulting to provide a lighting solution which provided evenly distributed light throughout the space using direct and indirect light sources, including the natural daylight flowing through the large windows. Workplace specific solutions for workstations required soft light levels with low glare options to achieve the desired effects on human well-being, awareness and mental performance.

The chosen luminaires provided sufficient levels of illuminance, light distribution and luminous intensity as well as the right colour temperature.
