COMENTARIOS DE VISITANTES A NUESTRA CASA EN MUNDO LATINO

Como parte de la exhibición de Nuestra Casa, se instaló un tendedero afuera de la casa donde los visitantes tuvieron la oportunidad de escribir en ‘trapitos’ sus impresiones y comentarios acerca de la exhibición. Durante los cinco días de la conferencia, se lograron capturar un total de 213 ‘trapitos’ que los visitantes dejaron tanto en español, ingles, francés y portugués. A continuación se presentan los comentarios. As part of the Nuestra Casa (Our House) exhibit, a clothesline was placed right outside the house where visitors could take the opportunity to record their comments and reactions about the exhibit on ’trapitos’ (pieces of fabric). During the five days of the conference, a total of 213’ trapitos’ were written by visitors in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. These comments are presented below. La casa de Mundo Latino me hizo vivir y “sentir” el amor que necesitamos para luchar por nuestra vida y la de los que nos rodean contra un enemigo tan fuerte, pero no invencible, que es la TB. ¡Felicidades a los organizadores! [The house in Mundo Latino made me live and “feel” the love needed to fight for our lives and those around us against the very powerful, but not invincible, enemy that is TB. Trabajar con las personas afectadas de TB y sus familias nos permite mayor adherencia y satisfacción. La casa me hizo pensar sobre todas las enfermedades no solamente de la tuberculosis sino de las que se necesitan de un tratamiento no muy ‘económico’ y personas de bajo recursos que lo necesitan. Esas personas tenemos que ayudarlas y me gustaría que informen más a las personas sobre todo darles información a los niños. [The house made me think about all diseases not just tuberculosis, about the ones that require treatment that is not very “economical” and persons with low resources that need them. We have to help those persons, and I would like you to inform them, especially children.] Compartir con todos mis compañeros y otras personas toda esta experiencia y conocimientos que adquirí. ¡Gracias! It is nice to see this exposition because it helps to give a human face to the disease and because it looks deeper than just statistics.
