DIAGNOSTIC in MSS/MGW
To do diagonesis of an unit it should be in test mode. For example if we want to diagonose a ET no 258 then we have to change its working state with to TE with command as below:-
ZUSC:ET,258:BL; ---- To block the ET
ZUSC:ET,258:TE; --- To change in to test mode
ZUDU:ET,258:::; ---- To start the daigonesis of the ET

Directed Call Test in MSS
Trunk to trunk test call
For trunk to trunk call e.g POI and Inter MSC call test we have to take a B party test number first.
Then we have to define test case by following command :-
ZYCN:<TEST CASE NAME>:OUTROUT=Y,DIG=9716098909,CON=NAT,CONT=N,:;
Where DIG= B party number
If a testcase is already active deactivate it using the command ----- ZYCE:4:;
Now activate the newly created testcase with the command
ZYCS: <TEST CASE NAME>,4;
Make the A party number in TP in HLR (from where you initiate the calls) with command
ZMIM:IMSI=<IMSI NUMBER>:CAT=TP;
Now make the desired circuits in TE-ID mode with command
ZCEC:MGW=MSS01MGW0103,TERMID=10274-1&&-31,:TE;
Now do test call and check the circuit with command ZMCJ:IMSI=<IMSI NUMBER>;
Call Testing for MOC (In case of ATER call test)
In this case we can do test calls for ATER where A party has to initiate a call provided A party would be under the same BSC for which call test is being done.
Then we have to define test case by following command :-
ZYCG:<TEST CASE NAME>:OUTROUT=Y,DIG=9716098909,CON=LOC,CONT=N,:;
Where DIG= B party number
