Greeter/Usher Luncheon

All current Greeters & Ushers, as well as anyone interested in joining either of these ministries, are

invited to attend this information luncheon immediately following the 2nd Worship service Sunday,

Feb. 23rd in the Garden Room. Pastor Jay will be sharing some new information as we have seen an

increase in worship attendance & have been greeting many new guests each week. WE NEED YOU as we expand our ministry to cover our entire campus to

meet & direct guests & members alike as they come for Sunday School and Worship each Sunday. Please contact Cindy Sanders in the church office to RSVP for lunch

• TRAIL LIFE USA INFORMATIONAL LUNCHEON Join us for a

free luncheon today after the late service in the Garden

Room. Trail Life USA is a Christian Outdoor Adventure

program for boys K-12th grade that will be starting on

MISSIONS/DISCIPLESHIP

• EXPERIENCING GOD: KNOWING AND DOING THE WILL OF

GOD will lead you in a study of the Bible to learn how to

know God better, how to know when God is speaking,

and how to adjust your life to God's will. The daily study

with weekly small-group in-home sessions will help you

develop a confident, personal relationship with God

through which He reveals Himself and His will. Starts

Sunday, February 23rd at 6pm. Call the church office to

Trail Life USA Info Lunch Today in the Garden Room!

An information luncheon is scheduled today in the Garden

Room after the second service for all parents and boys

interested or enrolled in Trail Life. Also, if you are interested in

serving as a leader, this luncheon is for you. Launch date for

Trail Life is Sunday, March 2 at 4pm.

Usher/Greeter/Parking Lot Attendants Luncheon

We are planning this working luncheon on Sunday,

February 23 in the Garden Room. If you serve in one of these

areas, or are interested in serving, please call Cindy at the

church office no later than Friday, February 21st to make

reservations and plan to stay for lunch that day. We do need

additional workers in these areas. Our attendance is

increasing, and we want to make sure that we are ready to

welcome and accommodate all who come!

Men’s Event March 1 With TCU Bowl Champion Luke Shivers in

the Student Ministry Building!

Guys, you don’t want to miss this great time of fellowship,

inspiration, and delicious BBQ. Luke Shivers was the captain of

the 2011 Rose Bowl champions, TCU Horned Frogs and scored

the winning touchdown of the game. He also played in the

Fiesta, Poinsettia, and Texas Bowls. He will share how his faith

has guided him. There will also be some great prize

giveaways – football helmets with autographs of Washington

quarterback RG III, and Hall of Famer Earl Campbell, and TCU

autographed by Luke Shivers. Tickets are available for men of

all ages in the Crossing for $5.

Valentine Dinner Comedy Night this Friday, February 14 in

the Chapel at 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 per couple. You will

enjoy a hilarious, wholesome show by Comedy Sports and a

delicious Italian dinner!
