Lyric adjusts to life as it happens, using the homeowner’s
smartphone location to make it comfortable when they’re
home and save energy when they’re away.
No guessing. No learning curve.
Homeowners can also manually override their current
setting when they’ll be out for a few hours by tapping
the house icon on the thermostat or in the app.

App-based install
No complicated manuals. With Lyric,
everything from install and setup to
personalization happens in four simple
steps using the mobile app.
STEP 1: INSTALL�
Removing the old thermostat, wiring,
and powering up the new Lyric.
STEP 2: CONFIGURE�
Guided equipment configuration. Choose “Advanced
Configuration” to access professional setup.
STEP 3: CONNECT�
Connecting Lyric to the home’s Wi-Fi network.
If you don’t have the network ID and password,
the homeowner can connect Lyric later.
STEP 4: PERSONALIZE�
Assigning a location and thermostat name using
the home’s address to populate local weather
data. Preferences can be adjusted in the app
after setup is complete.

Recommended install method
CONTRACTOR
Complete the “Install” and “Configure”
steps. In the future, when you’re comfortable
with the install process, you can skip “Install”
and go right to “Configure” in the app.
HOMEOWNER
After configuration, ask the homeowner to
use the Lyric app on their smartphone to
complete the “Connect” and “Personalize”
steps. That way, you won’t need to connect
the thermostat to Wi-Fi or request any of
the homeowner’s personal information.
