How does it work?
A project (new construction, renovation, commercial interiors, etc) can obtainLEED certification by achieving points infive key areas: • standard sustainable site development• water savings• energy efficiency• materials selection• indoor environmental qualityA maximum of 69 points can be awarded.Point ratings can range from “certified” (26 pts) – all the way up to “platinum” (52+ pts).
Milliken and LEED

We are proud supporter of this organisation and also the World Green Build Council (WGCB) a non-profi t making organisation focusing on sustainability. Our goals are aligned with USGBC and WGCB – we create carpet products designed to minimise their impact on the environment by focussing on product composition, manufacturing processes and reclaim/renewal options.Milliken Contract carpet products can
contribute the maximum number of LEED
points for carpet applications.
