In Arco Iris our School we enjoyed the Day of France from 1st
to 21st of June.
Primary Education students and some of Infant Education, have
been able to learn and enjoy with some peculiarities of France.
Some of the Infant Education pupils and all the first level grades
have been colored and made some crafts to celebrate and remember
this day. They have colored French a little boy, others a cutout doll
and loved coloring them a flag of France with which they made a
wreath to decorate the classroom.
Third level students have enjoyed getting
to know some of the characteristics of French
culture and have also been made the French doll
and a small wreath with French flags.
The fourth level students have studied
in depth the situation of France in Europe,
flag, maps, ... and some monuments of Paris mainly.
Fifth graders have been some of previous
craft, but primarily they have enjoyed listening to different types of
music, dancing and singing songs in English and in French. They filled in
a table on their impressions after hearing them. They even recorded
two videos dancing to a song in French and one singing it.

The sixth level students have also worked
mostly on different types of music and learned a
traditional children's song called: 'À la salade' that have since
recorded a short video. With our French specialist teacher.

Then we made a large poster with examples of the work done.
The 6th level students made the letters using plasticine.
All the pupils have
perfected their competence
in English. They have learned
the issue specific
vocabulary.
