A Magnet to the Party Crowd
«The GreenGo is an evergreen – which is what
makes the club so attractive to stars and celeb-
rities, from Roger Moore through to Madonna
and her daughter Lourdes.
You know that feeling you get when you are
driving towards a traffic light and the signal
turns green just before you need to stop?
The sensation of being unstoppable, of being
on top of the world, the careless happiness –
that’s GreenGo.
The club’s decadent seventies decor creates
a party scene that is unparalleled anywhere
in the world. “We never needed to completely
redo the style of our GreenGo. Actually, when-
ever the issue of changing something came
up, the guests liked to remind us to keep our
hands off the club,” Andrea Scherz says.
With its unique style, the GreenGo has re-
mained a centre of attraction until today. In the
often-packed club, local guests mingle with an
international celebrity clientele, dancing the night
away just inches above the glimmering pool.

About the GreenGo Club The Seventies – GreenGo’s First YearsExquisite. Extraordinary. Excellent: Since its
opening in 1971, the GreenGo has been known
for legendary parties in a unique setting. A
flashback in time with authentic design and de-
cor – combined with the irresistible beats from
our resident DJ Jim Leblanc and VIP guest DJs.

Clubbing was still in its infancy in 1971, when
Ernst Andrea Scherz, the previous owner of the
Gstaad Palace and a real trendsetter, opened
the door to a crowd looking for an exciting new
way to spend the night. Since then, the music
and beats have changed, time and again; the
original furnishings by Teo Jakob, however,
have kept their seventies’ glory. The dance
floor hovers just inches above the glistening
water of the indoor swimming pool, and invites
revelers to skinny-dip in the early hours of the
morning – just one of the many reasons this
nightclub is so popular amongst those who are
