Summer Camp Description Camp at Chesterbrook Academy offers fun-filled summer programs for rising Kindergarten -8th grade.
Each week, campers jump into action, participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities, and attending special events.
Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable!
It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors.
A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp counselors and specialists are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons.
Camp at Chesterbrook Academy gives you choices.
Camp includes five days of activities, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. You can choose to add extended hours to your menu of summer fun. We offer a range of outdoor activities, plus indoor activities conducted in our fully air conditioned facility. Our academic camps will better prepare campers for Kindergarten-2nd grade with a balance of keeping skills fresh and lots of summer fun!

Klutz: Designed for Doing, NOT Just Reading
Klutz has it all: drawing, bead art, fairies, jewelry, magic, science and more. Klutz books and activities are perfect for exploring new creative interests and for expanding on old favorites. Most activities come in multiple themes to appeal to discerning creative minds. Klutz books brings creativity to life during our Camp activity hour!

Activity Blocks
BLOCK Drama-The Musical Campers learn basic knowledge of acting techniques and stage movement to develop their imagination, creativity and confidence.
BLOCK Iron “Camp” Chef Campers will practice a variety of kitchen skills and use their creativity, while getting messy, and eating delicious foods!
BLOCK Science Gurus Practical and fun experimentation and project building send campers home with enthusiasm and the knowledge required to take the sciences further as hobbies.
BLOCK Urban Designers Draw. Decorate. Design. Campers will explore a multitude of design challenges, including interior design, architectural design and fashion design.
Each week campers will engage in unique activity blocks that offer relevant, meaningful experiences that allow them to construct new knowledge while connecting to previous knowledge. Activities provide an opportunity for campers to engage, explore and make sense of the natural world through inquiry and project-based learning.
BLOCK Color Wars Campers are divided into teams, each of which is assigned a color. The teams compete against each other in challenges and events to earn points.
BLOCK Lego-Inspired Engineering Dream it. Build it. Wreck it. Repeat! Campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, while they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics.
BLOCK Citizenship & Friendship Brigade Campers will find creative ways to give back, while learning about how they can make a difference, strengthening their character and friendships along the way.
BLOCK Games Galore Come be part of a summer camp that continues to emphasize a vast exposure to a variety of games.
BLOCK Artist Studio Draw it! Paint it! Sculpt it! There is no right or wrong when it comes to making art. Use your creativity to express your inner artist.
BLOCK Photography: A portable studio Campers are immersed in the art and craft of still photography, and are introduced to the tools necessary to capture great images and refine them through digital imaging.

BLOCK Technology Stop With an emphasis on creativity, exploration, and friendship, campers discover new tech skills in an energetic, kid-friendly learning environment.
BLOCK Time Travelers Through the Decades Come explore the Roaring 20’s, Fabulous 50’s, and Excellent 80’s. We will travel through each decade and study important inventions, as well as historical milestones.

Kindergarten Prep Camp Camp for Rising Kindergarten Students Welcome to Kindergarten Kick Off ! Students will be introduced back into the classroom atmosphere with exciting, fun, and educational learning centers and a hands on activity with a focus on Language Arts and Math. Through small group and differentiated instruction, the skills set we will review or extend include:
1. Reading readiness concepts (left-right, top-bottom etc)
2. Decoding and encoding
3. Word families
4. Number sense
5. Number recognition
6. Solving mathematical problems using manipulatives
7. Writing
8. Listening Comprehension
9. Proper pencil grip and cutting
10. Practice independence and self-advocacy
This camp is only for rising Kindergarten students. Their mornings will be academic in nature and afternoons will aim towards developing their socio-emotional growth as they participate in sports, Arts & Crafts, Water Days, experiments, and team-building activities. This is a great opportunity for your child to successfully transition into our Kindergarten program.

First/Second/Third Grade Prep Camp Camp for Rising First, Second, and Third Graders Students will be introduced back into the classroom atmosphere with exciting, fun, and educational learning centers and a hands on activity with a focus on Language Arts and Math. This camp will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. These campers will join their peers at noon and participate in all scheduled afternoon activities and field trips. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to keep their skills fresh over the summer and experience some awesome summer camp fun!

Payment Policy: A deposit equal to your tuition is required at time of enrollment to hold your reservation. The deposit will be applied to your campers final week of camp. Weekly camp fees are due every Monday morning at drop-off for that week of Camp and is subject to a $25 late fee if not received by 12 pm Tuesday.
