Creating a Good Action Game
MECH MODE slow movements, strong
armor/weapons
CAR MODE fast movements, weak
armor/weapons
● Tower defense mechanic.● Tower pros/cons.● Balancing of the economy is key.
Creating a Good Strategy Game
● Scarce resources at the beginning make the player focus on the action. Later on, the player earns enough financial resources to better manage his/her army.
Mixing It Up
● Get enough upgrades to beat the later levels.
Overachiever Reward: Upgrades
● The story gives context and makes players come back for more. But it's also brief.
