It seems hard to believe that we are already drawing to the
end of fall and the semester. I think November is my favorite
month. It has everything you could possible want: football,
Thanksgiving, and a well deserved break from school.
This is definitely a busy month for most students.
Homecoming kicks off the second week of the month.
Everyone is finishing (or frantically scraping together) group
projects. Parents are anxiously awaiting the return of their
students and wont even mind doing some, or a lot, of laund
Yes, this is definitely the month where family steps into thespotlight. Every family seems to have their own traditions.
My family and I al ways watch the movie Addams Family Values. Sure it seems li
a random selection, but once you watch the first Thanksgiving scene, you will rea
why its a Thanksgiving worthy tradition.
Perhaps the best thing about the month of November is the amazing football
that takes place. Its the time of the season where no teams hold anything back, a
every team is looking to secure their spots in the upcoming bowl games. Persona
I cant wait for the Florida and Clemson games. After three years of enjoying
Gamecock football, these are easily my two favorite games to watch..
So give thanks for family, friends, and football. And start getting ready for the
most wonderful time of the year next month.

point of being in a relationshipf youre not going to trust him?f you have any concerns with
who he talks to, then bring it upo him for reassurance. Trust me,weve all been there before andrying to be sneaky about it will
only make things worse. If yourehat tempted to check, just leavehe room too.

SPOTLIGHT
Te ootball season hastarted of with our wins, ncluding big wins versusonerence oes Georgia and
Vanderbilt. As expected,he ofense is pounding theall with Heisman hope-ul Marcus Lattimore. Lat-more, through those rst
our contests, has 611 yardsushing and an additional39 receiving. Stephen Gar-ia has managed the ofense
well, throwing or about 170ards per game. He will needo cut down on the turnovershough i this Gamecockeam wants a shot at the SECrown. Te deense has been
solid, only allowing Vander-bilt a eld goal in their nalcontest beore press time. Jadeveon Clowney has beenas good as billed, with vetackles or loss and our sacks.Hes also orced a team-highthree umbles. Te sched-ule doesnt really get diceyuntil November, when theGamecocks travel to Arkan-sas, then host the Gators andan up-and-coming Clemsonsquad to round out the regu-lar season. All things said, its been a good start or theGamecock ootball team andwere hungry or more wins!
FOUR UP AND FOUR DOWN
ACE IN THE HOLE!We claimed that Stephen
Garcia needed a second re-
ceiving option behind Alshon
Jeffrey as a key to victory in
our football preview issue and
hes been getting good pro-
duction out of Ace Sanders.
Sanders has been a solid deep
threat and has caught balls for
31 yards per game thus far.
With the run game dominat-
ing, the Gamecocks havent
had to air it out much. Good
to know if they do, theyll havemany options.

Tough SEC Schedule. As we mentioned above, the SEC schedule
is brutal. Fortunately for us, we avoid the big boys LSU and Ala-
bama this year. If we can somehow take down the SEC East, one
would think that one of teams would loom ahead in the champion-
ship game. Key games against Mississippi State, Tennessee, Arkan-
sas and Florida will be the big ones to watch.

What men want. Better yet, what men... are thinking. What is it aboutglasses that attracts men? What is it about spankies, that turns men on?Study Breaks investigated, here are your answers.
THINGS MEN
FIND SEXYFrom Kim Kardashians Ass toConfidence, the Countdown Begins
Kim KardashianFrom her perfect hairto her perfect face, Kim
Kardashian is definitelythe hottest of the threesisters. Men instantlyfantasize about her
when theyhear the nameKardashian.(Sorry, gals). Is it becauseshes career-oriented? Isit becauseshes fashionforward?
No, its onething: herASSetsare great.
Ass and BoobsAll shallowness aside, men love womenwith booty and/or boobs. They comein all shapes and sizes, so ladies, dontfret. Reason being, this is what showswe are women. Embrace your body, because he as hell sure does.
Fantasy FootballA popular past-time for menduring football season, menlove to keep up with theirteam. Now, if a man finds alady that loves fantasy foot-ball, its like he just won thelottery. With you interested in
how how success-ful his team is, itslike he just scoreda touchdown, andholding isnt acrime with you.
SpankiesEver since volleyball teamspresented the bottom halfof the uniform, men haveloved the material that sticksto your ass. It gives your
booty the opportunity to look thatmuch perkier and makes your legslook that much longer. Its a win-winfor both teams.
GlassesRemember the middleschool days when you werecalled four eyes? Do youalso remember the cartoonHey Arnold where thosewho picked on you really

Charming. Trustworthy.Ripped. All great char-acteristics for the perfectpolitician, right? Well,
hose arent the only words to de-cribe William Igbokwe. is twen-y-two year old senior in college is aery goal-oriented and driven person.
With aspirations of becoming Mayorf his hometown and attending law
chool after, William has potentialhat will be executed for the future. And hes starting now.
Why did you make the
decision to run for Mayor?
think what makes me the best op-ion for Mayor of Jacksonville is myommitment to honoring the con-erns of the citizens, my commit-
ment to my goals as mayor and thenergy and compassion that I have toulll all of the aforementioned. As
Mayor of Jacksonville, I know I could
eally shake things up in a positiveway and cater to the needs of all citi-ens, regardless of however theyveeen categorized by arbitrary labels.
Have you always known
what you wanted to do
fter you finished college?
Not immediately. It wasnt until thisummer that I decided that I d bid for
Mayor of Jacksonville in 2013. Myogic is if Im an aspiring politician,
why should I wait to start around themedian age of what, fty? e youth
houldnt be disenfranchised fromhe political process in any aspect norhould it be an automatic disquali-er for public o ce, especially since
were next in line to inherit whateverhe previous generation left for us. Idke a say in the aairs of my com-
munity as soon as possible.
Do you think post-grad stu-
dents have what it takes to get
heir experience in politics?
mean, of course. In fact, I thinkeople should be engaging their lo-
al, state and national governmentarlier than that. I think its reallyasy for people to become disillu-ioned with their government whenhey havent established any type ofelationship with government in therst place. at opens the door upo instances where the rst time aitizen and their government have anncounter, its for an unpleasant rea-on. Early involvement and engage-
ment of your government can helpssuage disillusionment.
What do you hope to bring
to the table while getting
involved with politics?Id hope to bring the appeal of theyouth participation to politics. A lotof people my age or younger feeldisenfranchised from their own gov-ernments (local, state and national). In a country where the youth have somuch energy and potential to oer,
there is no reason that a disconnectshould exist. Id like to bridge thatgap between government and youngpeople because obviously, bothsides have much to gain from astrong relationship.
Why do you think that
gap has been present?
Because our politicians neglect our youth and dont take their opinions(and sometimes their concerns seri-ously). So to close this gap, its on theheads of politicians to reach out to
the voiceless and to our youth.
What are your hobbies?
I like reading current events, holdingconversations about current events, debating current events, running, exercising, playing pick up games of whatever, shopping, writing, speak-ing in publicI mentioned I wasboring earlier in this interview, right?
Why are you so boring?
Give me details.
Im boring because I live a very rou-tine, party free (for the most part)and drama free life. Im just underthe impression that my lifestyle canbe very unappealing to a lot of peoplein my age group. Im an introvert, forthe most part. And I know some-times we get a bad rap for being dull.
Any love interest?Haha, yeah, there is one actuallyand shes great. Youll nd out moreabout her if/when we get married.
In your last year in college, what would you like to
do involving politics?
I would like to volunteer with a cam-paign organization or a nonprotorganization. I really want to getmy hands dirty in the local politicalscene and help out in any way that Ican. Im not looking to make a hugeimpact on anything in particular. Fornow, I just want to learn.
1. I have the alphabetnumerically memorized.
2. I have a sweet tooth.
3. Im an avid pro-wrestling fan.
4. My favorite color is lavender.
5. Im a recovering metrosexual(but only sort of.)
6. I compete for theUniversity Speech Team.
7. I love Mangos.
8. I have a shoe fetish thats quicklyevolving into a coat fetish.
9. My favorite meat is goat.
10. I am the Peoples Champion.
If your friends would describe
you in 5 words, what would they say?
Determined, Disciplined,
Confident, Hungry, Empathetic

I think that says a lsecondary education in this couand some of the problems it s faI dont think it should cost an arand a leg to further educate the tions brightest. Lest we forget, o
college graduates will be in charof running this country in the nfuture. Itd be great if they couldcomplete and pay for school.
What is one thing youd
change about America?
e wealth disparity in this cois disgusting and exacerbates a lother issues the country is currfacing. So, without a doubt, that wbe the one thing I change abou
You want to be Americas most
fit congressman out there, so
how would you win those votes?
Well, obviously I would need to stay inshape. More importantly, Id need to pay
some dues. I think soaring rhetoric frompoliticians can be a great thing becausepeople need to feel inspired, especially when youre dealing with somethinglike American politics, which can turnnegative so quickly. But soaring rhetoriccan turn into your worst enemy if youneglect to deliver. To win votes, Id tryto energize and inspire a sizeable votingbase but more importantly, Id followthat up by delivering. And deliveringdoesnt just mean drafting and passinglegislation. I dont think civil servants arelimited to the chambers of congress. Its
okay for elected politicians to get theirhands dirty with community service,town-hall meetings, etc. I dont believein one dimensional political service.
Have you always been
interested in being fit by
running and working out?
Lets put vanity aside. In the spring of2002, my father has a minor stroke. Ithink that was the rst time I became very health conscious. While he re-covered, I started researching ways toget him into healthy physical form. I
introduced to him some exercises anddietary choices that I hoped would pre-vent him from succumbing to the ef-fects of hypertension again. In doing so,I adopted the exercise routine to givehim a support system. Later, my mo-tivation developed into keeping myselfhealthy in general. Its stuck ever since.
Ive heard you have some
killer abs. What is your
secret to staying fit?
I work out twice a day for a combinedthree hours. In the morning, I work on
my abdominal muscles and wrap it upwith cardio (1.5 miles and 1000 jumprope.) In the evening, I work on my up-per body. I make an earnest eort to eatwell but Im in college, I cant cook andI have to desire to learn. So I watch mycaloric intake and make sure it doesntexceed more than half of what I burnedthroughout the day. I guess Id attributeto discipline and consistency to keepingme in shape.

To be a great father, a great politi-ian, a person who put a dent inwealth disparity, who challengedhe status quo on equality and dis-

You mention wife and kids

Very. My immediate family membersare the most important people in mylife and that will never change. I wantto create the same time of strongbond and connection for my childrenand what will be their family.

I want my future wife and children to be proud ofthe man they know, despite my per-sonal aws. Particularly concerningmy children, I want them to knowthat their father loves them uncon-ditionally and that no matter what, they can come to me with what-ever concerns they have. I want mychildren to grow into people far

GOING FOR
THE GREENSMama Always Told You To Eat Your VegetablesAlthough the most common conception of people who abstain from eating animalesh or byproducts is that they are card-carrying PETA members, there are manyeasons someone may choose to be a vegetarian or vegan. From religious reasonso simple healthy solutions, 3.2 percent of U.S. adults follow a vegetarian-based dietnd 10 percent follow a vegetarian-inclined diet, according to the Vegetarian Times.
Vegetarian Tofu Chil i Recipe
IRECTIONS:
a large pot, saut the tofu in the vegetable oil overedium high heat for about three minutes. Add the
nions, green pepper, garlic, mushroms, chili powder, alt and pepper to taste, cayenne and cumin.ook until veggies are just barely tender, aboutve minutes.
VEGETARIAN
When someone says vegetarian, they
most commonly mean a lacto-ovo vege-
arian, or people who do not eat
nimal meat, but still include eggs,
milk, cheese and other animal by
roducts in their diet. Similarly, lacto-egetarians describes vegetarians who cutggs out but still eat dairy products andvo-vegetarians cut out the dairy but cantill enjoy scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Maintaining a lacto-ovo vegetarian life-tyle is usually the goal of someone whohooses to cut meat out of the diet. The
mitation-meat products lining grocerytore shelves and larger vegetarian-iendly options in restaurants, make theansition much easier.
PESCATARIAN
A pescatarian abstains from eating
land animals and birds, but still in-
cludes fish and shellfish. They may ormay not eat dairy products. Becominga pescatarian is often used as an in-be-tween to developing a vegetarian or fullvegan lifestyle, but the diet is becomingmore and more frequent as a permanentstage. Pescatarians are given more op-tions for proteins and good fats, andoften better, healthier choices at restau-rants. Fish raised on inhumane farms arealso far less frequent, and fresh fish ismuch more readily available than organ-
ic red meat or poultry.
VEGAN
Often, being able to live as a vegan or vegan is the ultimate goal of vegetar
or pescatarians. A vegan cuts out a
kind of animal product, includ
all dairy, eggs or anything that
cludes animal-derived ingredientraw vegan takes this one step further only eats unprocessed vegan foods, absolutely no steamed vegetables. Rvegans believe that this saps the foodits intended nutritional value. This is eathe hardest lifestyle to maintain, as mrestaurants do not take vegan, and escially raw vegan, options into accounalso requires careful scrutiny of ingredlists and a true dedication.
