Silver BendColours Week 2

Page 2: Colours week 2

Hey look it’s Thai! It’s finally his turn in Silver Bend. Why does he have a dog you may ask? I accidently made Pony’s Hanna a male dog.

So I made another female Hanna and had Thai move in then out to swap dogs. Now he

has Hans instead of Hanna.

Page 3: Colours week 2

Thai and a made over Hans move across the street from Pony and Ambi. He was randomly select to have an

OWBC. The first one I’ve ever attempted. And of course I’m keeping score. I selected the Base Game, Open for

Business, and Freetime challenges. And for mini challenges, Boolprop Names, One bad apple, Boolprop

Club house, and Family Scrap book.

Page 4: Colours week 2

I built Thai a small house, but he ran out of funds rather quickly. So digging it is.

“Pony are you going to comment on my whole week?”Umm, yes. I wanted to write you in first person, but it felt really

awkward.“How about you try third person? You’re doing the commentary

style in Arbor Watch, this is supposed to be different.”You’re right. *deep breathe* Here goes nothing.

Page 5: Colours week 2

Ron Humble whistled merrily as he left his computer on the porch. He always loved

giving new families computers. Thai certainly appreciated the gift, this time for it’s cash

value. He had a lot of house to build.

Page 6: Colours week 2

Melissa Fancey was the first to walk by. Thai couldn’t believe is luck, a beautiful lady is his

first guest. He rushed to greet her.“Hi Melissa.” He grinned.

“Do I know you?” She said.“Not yet.” He smiled. “I’m Thai Colours.”

Page 7: Colours week 2

“Melissa Fancey, but some how you already know that.”

“Let’s say that I’ve done my research.” Thai grinned sheepishly as the welcome wagon

arrived.

Page 8: Colours week 2

“So how about we go on a date?” Thai said gently taking Melissa’s hand.“Why not?” Melissa agreed.

Page 9: Colours week 2

Things heated up rather quickly. Hans fell asleep waiting for Thai to come in. As nice as

Melissa was Thai knew she wasn’t going to settle down anytime soon. He needed a

spouse to start his OWBC.

Page 10: Colours week 2

Cool breezes the next morning remind Thai he needed to get his tomatoes planted. He planned on opening a club, so it’ll still be awhile before a grocery would be started.

Page 11: Colours week 2

The sun came out again when Shelby walked by.

“Hi I’m Thai.” He said running over to greet her.

“Shelby, I like your pajamas.”“Thanks.”

Page 12: Colours week 2

“Would you go on a date with me?” he asked.“Ah, you aren’t a legacy founder searching

for a spouse are you?”“OWBC”

“Look, I’d love to go on a date, but just a date or two. I’m not spouse material.”

“I understand.” Thai smiled.

Page 13: Colours week 2

Thai and Shelby had two dream dates before she said good night.

Page 14: Colours week 2

Thai sighed. Dates were fun but he was no closer to owning his club Colouriffic.

Page 15: Colours week 2

Finally his luck had changed! He dug up a treasure chest. He could now afford his club!

As soon as it was built he could get a job is the Slacker career. It was his LTW to be a

professional party guest.

Page 16: Colours week 2

A/N: I totally forgot the most important part of any OWBC. The flamingos! Well I guess

late is better than never…

Page 17: Colours week 2

When with the treasure chest, Colouriffic didn’t have much going for it.

Page 18: Colours week 2

One way to help his fledging business was to get to know the women around town. Marisa was more than willing to go on a date with

him.

Page 19: Colours week 2

Uma too, but still no one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Page 20: Colours week 2

All the dates kept his spirit and mood up. He was able to stay at Coloriffic much longer than he intended. He went on two with Jill

Smith.

Page 21: Colours week 2

“Nice shirt.” Amanda Carlson smiled as she greeted Thai.

“Thanks.” He grinned back, “Want to go on a date?”

“Sure why not?”

Page 22: Colours week 2

After Amanda left, Thai couldn’t stop thinking about her. He ended his date Marylena early, after he realized he would rather see Amanda

again.

Page 23: Colours week 2

Hans missed Thai badly while he was away. Amanda was working so Thai killed time by teaching Hans to play dead. Though Charlie

thought Thai was a bit nuts.

Page 24: Colours week 2

Amanda came right over when Thai called a second time.

“I was hoping you would call.” She admitted shyly.

“I wanted to see you again.”

Page 25: Colours week 2

“Move in with me.” He said.“You mean it?” Amanda said her face growing

excited.“Yes.”

“Then yes, I will move in.”

Page 26: Colours week 2

Thai took Amanda inside. Marisa came by and listened for a second. She sighed, she had a chance and blew it. Roses felt corny now that Thai had chosen another. She put the blooms

back in her pocket and trudged off into the night.

Page 27: Colours week 2

Amanda woke up before Thai and snuck into his small bathroom. Their small bathroom.

She smiled and let her hair down.

A/N: Amanda Carlson-Fortune-LTW Business Tycoon.

Page 28: Colours week 2

Hans was getting a little ripe. Thai tried to give him a bath. The dog kept jumping out of

the tub. At he smelled a little better.

Page 29: Colours week 2

While Thai was taming his dog, Amanda poked around his garden. She swore that

there had been only three flamingos the night before. His tomatoes were looking kind of

wimpy. She found his watering can.

Page 30: Colours week 2

“Roll over Hans, Roll over.” Amanda cheered the stubborn dog. She saw the intelligence in

his face, but he seemed to be challenging her. She’d wear him down.

Page 31: Colours week 2

Thai brought her to Colouriffic. They used some her money to add a little coffee bar to

the club.

Page 32: Colours week 2

He drew her outside. “Amanda I know it’s sudden.”

“Hey, legacy types can’t afford to wait.” She teased.

Page 33: Colours week 2

“Just shut it and say yes.” He grinned.“Yes!”

Page 34: Colours week 2

They exchanged rings right in front of the club. Amanda didn’t want to wait any longer

than he did.

Page 35: Colours week 2

Needless to say they didn’t stay at work every long. A soft lullaby played in the

background.

Page 36: Colours week 2

Amanda fell asleep, Thai went out the garden. Weeds were determined to smother

his tomatoes.

Page 37: Colours week 2

Amanda unpacked her inventory. Only a few small things from her townie apartment.

There was a perfect place for her fish tank in the living room.

Page 38: Colours week 2

She sold some things and bought herself an easel. Their house didn’t have much to do in it. Apparently he dug or played with Hans in

his spare time.

Page 39: Colours week 2

Which he was doing now. Amanda held back a laugh. Hans was as stubborn with Thai as

he was with her.“Come on Hans, just shake already!” Thai

demanded.Hans just wagged his tail.

Page 40: Colours week 2

Amanda poked Thai awake the next morning.“Are you always up so early?” He asked.

“Yes.” She laughed, “You’re a bit of a night owl.”

“Well there’s no use going back to sleep.” Thai said looking sideways at her.

“No there isn’t.” She grinned.

Page 41: Colours week 2

Thai got up a short while later, feeling rather pleased with himself. He scooped up the

newspaper. His club was doing well enough it was time to look in for his dream job. He had heard the lullaby. Amanda was pregnant they

would need the extra money.

Page 42: Colours week 2

No luck in the paper. Thai headed up to work, leaving Amanda at home with Hans. He

installed an actual bar. The coffee bar was nice, but nothing beat a juice bar.

Page 43: Colours week 2

He sighed, business was slow. It always took so long to get a business going.

Page 44: Colours week 2

The bar was a draw to the few people that came in.

Page 45: Colours week 2

Thai changed tactics and concentrated on his sales. Peter Sims gave him enough sales to

make Rank 4.

Page 46: Colours week 2

He used the money to buy Amanda a robotics bench. She wanted to open up her own shop. Selling robots. It wouldn’t be a bad thing to

have a servo around the house too.

Page 47: Colours week 2

Thai couldn’t resist tinkering on him himself. The toy robot turned out rather nice.

Page 48: Colours week 2

A new day brought a new day of work. Business picked up, the poker table was a hit.

Page 49: Colours week 2

Thai splurged and bought a DJ booth. Now his patrons could dance. His club was coming

together nicely.

Page 50: Colours week 2

He stayed a new more hours and headed home. They now had enough money to make

over the house.

Page 51: Colours week 2

Amanda’s pregnancy finally revealed itself. She hadn’t felt sick at all thankfully. She left a rose out for Thai.

Page 52: Colours week 2

She stayed out of the house for Reno Day. Thai’s house was small and cozy for a small family. Only the bare essentials and her fish tank. But they had enough money to change

all that.

Page 53: Colours week 2

The front could also use a face lift.

Page 54: Colours week 2

A couple hours later and they actually had windows. A gravel path lead to the garden

and the hedges perfectly trimmed.

Page 55: Colours week 2

The inside was a riot of color.

Page 56: Colours week 2
Page 57: Colours week 2
Page 58: Colours week 2

Thai used their spiffy new computer to check for jobs. Finally he found a position in the

slacker career.

Page 59: Colours week 2

Amanda claimed the kitchen. The sim fast tasted delicious.

Page 60: Colours week 2

They hit the hay in their brand new bed. Amanda snuggled closer to Thai. It was nice

to have a furnished house.

Page 61: Colours week 2

Thai left for his first day of work.

Page 62: Colours week 2

Amanda spent the morning entertaining herself by tiding up and cooking her kitchen.

Page 63: Colours week 2

Thai came home with a promotion. A small bonus helped make up for the expenses of

Reno Day.

Page 64: Colours week 2

After a nap, Thai couldn’t resist the robot bench. Next week they would open up a shop

for Amanda.

Page 65: Colours week 2

The week went by so fast. Thai squeezed Amanda gently. A new home with a new

family. He wondered who was next in Pony’s little experiment.

That’s all for this chapter folks. Now that the holiday season is pretty much over, I am back to writing. One of my new year’s

resolutions is to finish a challenge, another is make more time for

writing. My goal is to update at least twice a month on something.

So here’s the first update to the new year. Have a happy New Year

everyone and happy simming!

Oh and Keika is the next simself on the list!
