Colour palettes

Page 2: Colour palletts 10

These two colour palettes show a variety of dark colours with a pop of the bright red and light blue, these two palates are colours that I would consider putting within my magazine maybe using these colours for the font colours as they are dark but statement and would work well on a plain background or placed over and image or coloured block

The two colour palettes shown are something that would less likely be seen featured within my indie music magazine as the bright yellows and dark purples are a contrast and wouldn't’t work well within my magazine as I am going for a very simple but statement look I don’t think the yellow or purple or orange work tie in well to make the magazine one

The colour palettes here feature a lot of greens and then a pop of pastel colours, this is 100% not something that would feature within my indie alternative music magazine, but could be seen in the likes of a pop or even rock magazine with the grungy looking maroons and purples

The variety of blues on the left hand side is something that could be seen featured within a magazine that is based on the male gender as different types of blues are seen stereotypically as ‘boys’ colours where as on the right hand side you would see the variety of pinks and purples and associate these with a girls pop magazine, but from the right hand side palette I would consider using the light grey colour as I think this would work well with my magazine

On the left hand side the white and grey are the two colours that I would take out of that palette and consider using within my own magazine as these are very clean and simple colours that can work well with a variety of images allowing me to produce something that I want to, on the other side we have more beige and pastelle colours which I wouldn’t want to include within my magazine as I don’t associate these types of colours with magazine colours, they wouldn’t stand out enough and wouldn’t produce enough of a statement
