Reasons for using MAZeT Color Sensors for Textiles

The reasons are:

• Dark colors

• Distance to garment surface, materials

• Motion of the materials

• In-line measurement requires sample & hold timing

Spectrometers are not suitable:

• One shot measurement evaluates the color of different locations

• The accuracy of spectrometer is a question of the calibration

• The high spectrum values gives no additional information for the human eye

Each measurement is a scaled comparison between sample and a reference

(These values are taken from a data memory)
