    1. How do you envision the role of the County party in relation to other Democratic clubs andorganizations? How do you intend to foster and encourage the development of Democratic clubsand organizations and engage them in the county party at large?

    2. Besides being involved in the Democratic Party in Collin County, can you tell me what otherorganizations you have been involved in for the past two years?

    3. What is your current detailed strategic plan to activate and motivate Democrats in Collin Countyto get out the vote during the general election cycle? Is this a written plan? Was the plan createdwith input from Democratic Precinct Chairs or any other Democratic group or organization inCollin County? And how is this strategic plan being financed?

    4. The governing body of the County Democratic Party is the County Executive Committeecomprised of all the Precinct Chairs led by the County Chair (known as the CEC). Over the pastyear, a number of the monthly County Executive Committee meetings have run late and notcompleted their agendas, leaving outstanding items of business that have not been addressed.As the presiding officer of the CEC, the County Chair has great influence over the agenda

    planning, inclusion of speakers, and how the general meeting proceeds. How will you ensure thatfuture County Executive Committee meetings start on time, get the planned business done, andend on time?

    5. As the party that supports Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender issues across the country, whatspecific goals do you have to enhance the voice of these citizens in the county?

    6. Do you have new ideas for obtaining new donations (not from elected officials) for both ourcandidates and our county party? Would you commit to increasing the amount by 10% this year?

    7. What is your plan to convince independent voters that our Democratic candidates are their bestchoice?

    8. As County Chair, what will you do to help get rid of the following statement or general sentiment:I thought I was the only Democrat in Collin County.

    9. During the 2010 election cycle, Collin County had 179 precincts with around 85 precinct chairs.As a result of redistricting, Collin County now has 202 precincts with close to the same number ofprecinct chairs (and around 60 individuals who have filed to serve as precinct chairs for the nexttwo-year term). As County Chair, what will you do to increase the number of active precinctchairs, keep these volunteers engaged, and retain them from one election cycle to the next?

    10. We see elements of discrimination at different levels of public agencies. As Chairman, whatefforts will you make to protect the civil rights of minorities?

    11. Please discuss your views on the balance required between leading the party and performing theChair's required duties on the one hand, and being an impartial presiding officer of the CountyExecutive Committee on the other.

    12. The General Meetings for the Democratic Party are the main venue of candidates to speak to thegeneral membership, and the best way for party faithful to get a sense of what is going on.During the 2008 campaign there were several General Meetings, and during the 2010 campaignthere was only one. What would you do to get this back on track so that our general membershipcan be a part of the Democratic experience once again?

    13. What is your "vision" of a strong Collin County Democratic Party with solid financialmanagement, and what leadership is needed at the top to ensure this vision can be achieved?
