Through the College Pathways program, OCC representatives will provide all high school seniors with guidance through the
complete set of steps required to be a college student:
The application process including applying to OCC Information about how to earn a degree and the value
of a college education Free college placement exams, readiness checks, and
remediation Advising and career exploration for major and course
selection to help students get on the right path Financing a college education, maintaining funding,
and assistance with completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
College Pathways supports and assists high school seniors with
the transition to college.
COLLEGE Pathways Program
Regardless of where students choose to attend,
Ocean County College provides hands-on, one-on-one support to assist students through each step of the
college admissions process.
The program is beneficial even for those who plan to
attend another college. If you ever choose to attend OCC to take summer or winter courses that transfer back to your home
institution, you are ready to go – no extra steps needed!
The GoalTo increase the number of graduating seniors who enter
college and to demystify the enrollment process. A degree increases students’ earning potential and employment
opportunities, ensuring the vitality of Ocean County communities.
Who Can Join?This program is for high school seniors in Ocean
County whose district has agreed to work with Ocean County College and implement College Pathways.
