ELIGIBILIGY CONDITION FOR ADMISSION

IP College of Education, Jassia (Rohtak) was established in the year 2006 to conduct Teacher Training Program.

The college presently conducting the following Education Training Programs:

1. Post Graduate program in Education leading to two year Master of Education (M.Ed.)

2. Under Graduate program in Education leading to two year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

3. Diploma program in Education leading to two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.)

Above all Teacher Education program i.e. M.Ed. and B.Ed. programs are affiliated to M.D. University,

Rohtak while D.Ed. program is affiliated to State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT)

Gurgaon. The examination of D.Ed. are conducted by the Board of School Education, Haryana (Bhiwani)

IP College of Education is situated at Panipat Road in Rohtak city. It is 15 K.M. away from Rohtak General Bus

Stand and 700 meters away from Jassia Railway Station & 17 K.M. away from Rohtak Railway Station. The

campus of the college is spread over 8 acres of green lush area and well connected with the Rail and the Road

transport. The Rohtak, an Educational Hub and most popular District H.Q. of Haryana, is just 85 K.M. from

Delhi on the National Highway No. NH71A and the trains and bus services are frequently available between

Delhi and Rohtak.

Sr. No. Course Seats Eligibility

1. M.Ed. 50 B.Ed from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

2. B.Ed. 200 Graduation/post graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.

3. D.Ed. 50 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks.

Admission to B.Ed. program for the state of Haryana are mode centrally by a University authorized by State

Govt. of Haryana. Admission are mode through online counseling conducted by the authorized university. The

university invites Online Applications for admission to B.Ed. program in the month of June/July every year. The

admission are mode on basis of the merits of the marks obtained in UG/PG examinations.

Admission to M.Ed. program is made by M.D. University, Rohtak on the basis of the merit of marks obtained in

the Entrance Examination conducted by the University for the purpose. The application for admission are

invited in the month of June-July every year.

Admission to D.Ed. is made by state council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) on the basis of

marks obtained in 10+2 and the applications are invited in the month of May-June every year.

Tuition fees & other fees for M.Ed., B.Ed. and D.Ed.courses are charged as approved by state Govt. of

Haryana from time to time.

The Examinations conducted by M.D. University, Rohtak for coursed M.Ed., B.Ed. & for course D.Ed.

examinations conducted by Haryana Board the result are excellent since 2006-07 till now.

IP College of Education provides separate hostel for Boys & Girls. The hostel has well furnished rooms having

all necessary & modern comforts. The mess facility is provided on co-operative basis. Hostel Facility is also

provided to students during examination period at a very reasonable price.

The College has a well stocked & updated library with more

than 17,000 books. A full set of books is supplied to all the

students from the College Library free of cost. The subject-

notes & other study material are also provided to the

students. The Library subscribes 16 Nos. of National &

International Journals in the filed of Education,

Psychology, Sociology, School Management, Education

Technology & Inclusive Education. The research &

reference section of the Library are well stocked.

The College has State-of-the-art technological Computer Lab with 45 nos. of Dual Core & i3 nodes equipped

with latest all subscibes software for teaching training college by NCTE & facilitated with a complete power

backup with 20 KVA D.Gen. sets. The facilities are further enhanced with a 2 MBPS Internet Broadband

Connection, which provides 24 hours Internet Connectivity throughout the campus using Wi-Fi.

The College provides cafeteria facilities within the College premises. The cafeteria serves all kind of snacks,

fast food and lunch to the students as per their needs & preferences.
