ECOLOGICAL URBAN LANDSCAPES

MASTER’S DEGREE CONCENTRATION

SIU Carbondale has a new Master’s Degree Concentration in Ecological Urban Landscapes. This 30 credit hour program will be completely online, with the exception of a one-week practicum that must be completed face-to-face. Our graduate program seeks to offer the student a fundamental knowledge of ecological systems as related to planning and management of urban outdoor spaces with the goal of compatibility and balance. You will gain skills and practical application knowledge as well as have opportunities for critical analysis and problem solving as related to urban landscape design and management with an additional focus on urban agriculture.
