Cutting Instructions:From Avocado: One 3/4” x 12” rectangle One 1” x 1” square Three 2 1/4” squares From Gold: One 3/4” x 12” rectangle Two 1” x 1” square Three 2 1/4” squaresFrom Plum: Four 7/8” x 2” rectangles One 2” x 6 1/2” rectangle One 3 1/2” x 6 1/2” rectangle

Instructions:1. Sew the Avocado and Gold 3/4” x 12” strips together. Press and cut into twelve 1” squares.2. Select the 2 1/4” squares and place one Avocado and one Gold square together. Sew around all four sides and then cut diagonally from each corner. This will create four blocks.3. Press the seams open and trim each half square triangle unit to 1” squares.4. Assemble three churn dash blocks as seen in Diagram 1 below.

5. Sew the blocks together with the plum 7/8” x 2” strips in between each block.6. Sew the 3 1/2” x 6 1/2” plum strip to the left side of the unit and the 2 1/2” x 6 1/2” plum strip to the right side of the unit.7. Trim the block to a 6 1/2” square.
