monotone paper to create a collage based on a still life.

I have given the students three mushrooms to place inside

a white lined box. With this still life they will create a collage

using a selection of torn, monochrome paper.

Directional light will enhance the shadow and tonal range

giving the objects line shape, tone and form.

Create the tonal range of the box first.
