Learning Goals:

All students are able to assess their learning and develop an improvement plan

All students gain the skills to be successful independent learners in their learning environment

Lesson Study Model – teachers collaborate in small group (team teaching)

External PD Providers (workshops offered by school, learning services, etc.)

School-Based or Inter-School PLC Work – meet regularly in structured groups to work on self-determined activities

Each priority area will have a Collaborate, Create, Learn (CCL) Team focused on advancing and sharing work in that area within our school

Each staff member will participate as a member of a CCL Team

The objectives for each priority will be determined through discussion and planning of each CCL Team

Each PD day, time will be allocated to meet as a CCL team to discuss, plan, and create learning opportunities

Team members are also encouraged to collaborateeither formally or informally to advance the work being done in the priority areas

Each CCL Leadership Team will have early and middle years representation

All staff will choose their CCL team based upon

1. Professional/personal strengths

2. Professional/personal interests

Each CCL Leadership Team will be responsible for the following:

Create a shared CCL Lead Team Professional Growth Plan focused on priority area that defines objectives and measures of success (this can be used for individual PGDP if you wish)

Provide learning station PD session on May 10

Provide learning opportunities to staff in priority area (email, optional after-school PD sessions, other, etc.)

Each CCL Leadership Team will be responsible for the following:

Identify resources in the priority area for the staff (conferences, media materials, etc.)

Personal reflection, document and share work on Muir Lake School Blog

Share resources, ideas, and work on social media

Each CCL Leadership Team will be responsible for the following:

Team teach at least once with another staff member this year

Provide at least 2 Learning Round opportunities for other staff members to attend (see Learning Round Leader’s Guide)

Summarize the project in writing at the end of the year
