Introduction to Mindfulness 4 hour workshop Mindfulness teaches participants to become aware by observing the here and now without judgement. It brings awareness to our thoughts and feelings and helps prevent us becoming wrapped up in them and makes it easier to manage them. It can help us to notice stress building, and when our mind becomes caught in unhelpful thought patterns. With Mindfulness we can respond skilfully, with choice rather than through habitual reaction. Our lives are full of worry, stress and anxiety. When we worry our mind is in the future, we are reaching out to it to master it, but we aren’t succeeding. Having peace of mind means coming back from the future and into the present – that’s where peace resides. Being present, being in the zone – that’s Mindfulness.

2 day Stress Management Workshop Day one of the workshop will be a blend of tutor input, discussion, small group activities, individual activities and role-plays. The workshop looks at definition of stress, its causes, coping mechanisms, and how to relax and de-stress. Day two of the workshop will provide participants with relaxation techniques such as yoga or holistic therapy sessions. This day will provide a taster of a range of therapeutic interventions and participants will be encouraged to develop their own

personal stress management plan.

The Fundamentals of Personal Coaching This four hour workshop explores some of the basics of coaching and is suited for people who are interested in Life coaching. The objective of the session is to enable individuals to achieve a basic level of competence in Coaching. Programme participants will learn coaching skills and techniques through a mix of theoretical and experiential learning, enabling participants to use these in their

personal or business life.
