o The Co ege was promoted by West Bengal Power Development Corp oration Limited, under the quidan e of Prof. Shankar Kumar Sen, former Vice-Chancellor of Jad .ivpur University and the then M'e-Power, Govt. of West Bengal.

o The cal npus IS spread over 32 acres of land , provided by the West Bengal Power Development Corpor i t ion Limited. It is located at Kolaghat in Purba Medinipur Distrct of West Bengal in the townsh p of Kolaghat Thermal Power Station.
