selected on the key ethos that they are backed by the best cow families available and they
have been crossed with some of the best sires from around the globe to leave us with
these exciting balanced sires.
NEW RELEASE ARYSHIRE SIRES
Dam: Sandyford Clover 10 EX97 Sandyford Supreme
These two fantastic half brothers are bred
from the only living 97 point Ayrshire cow in the world. The undefeated Sandyford
Clover 10 EX97. Clover combines type, production, strength, longevity and breed
character in one perfect package.
In the show ring she has been undefeated for almost 10 years adding many
accolades to her record including breed championships at the Royal Show,
Cheshire County Show, the South West Dairy Event and the Royal Welsh Show.
She has also won her class at the Dairy Event on four separate occasions, being
crowned Interbreed Heifer Champion and
Interbreed Supreme Champion in this time.
She adds this to her successes in Scotland
having the title of Supercow bestowed upon her twice. Production wise she is
currently giving just under 60kgs a day, in
her 9th lactation at 11 years of age.
Supreme (Blackthorne x EX97 Chatter x
VG85 Eagan) is the result of the classic mating of Blackthorne and Clover to pro-
duce a bull that is expected not only to put milk in the tank, but also sire wide strong
heifers that will stand the test of time. He is a fantastic looking young sire who
walks on a fantastic set of feet and legs.
Triclo (Reality x EX97 Chatter x VG85 Eagan) is a more modern mating crossing
quite possibly the best sire available from North America with Clover. We expect this
young sire to transmit balance, style and
production into daughters that milk well and display fantastic mammary systems.
We look forward to this dynamic duo leav-ing that ‘Clover Stamp’ on the interna-
tional Ayrshire community.
NEW RELEASE JERSEY SIRES
Bayview Riley Skipper
Riley x EX93 Senior x EX94 Lemvig
Skipper is an exciting new addition to the Cogent
Jersey programme. This complimentary mating
should delivery some very useful progeny.
Skipper’s pedigree traces back through the March
family to one of the old school, high production
herds of the breed. His Dam and Grand Dam are
multiple Ex cows both scoring EX96 for dairy
strength. This will protect the extreme dairy
qualities of Riley and allowing the combination to
deliver really good type in the resulting progeny. His dam has averaged over 7000kgs in
her last three lactations at 6.01%BF and 3.85%P. These high components will protect Ri-
ley’s milk quality, and again the high production from both sides of the pedigree should be
delivered through Skippers progeny. The regular calving pattern of Senior Skip combined
with the fantastic fertility score on Riley make this young bull a really exciting prospect
that will reiterate the fertility that jersey cows are known for.

Dtr: Greystones Samson 78
Skyhigh Samson (Swedish Red)
K Lens x Rapid x Elvebakken
Samson daughters have blown us away on recent farm visits, they are amongst some of
the most balanced, consistent, correct cross bred cattle that we have seen in UK for many
years. They have solid, robust frames and have legs that display ideal set, tailored to walking
long distances that paddock grazing requires. Their mammary systems are worn high and
wide with ample teat length and near perfect positioning. Width is something that Samson
seems to be excelling in. One thing that has been common with people who are milking
Samson daughters is that they have all bought
more semen of the bull.
