Established in 1942 in Greece, EROS Coffee House started out as a commodities distribu-tor and eventually opened a store to sell coffee beans and other associated products in 1966.

Over the last few years we have been renovat-ing their locations to compete with our com-petitors. We created a new logo and brand that is modern but still showcases that we are an experienced company.

We are delighted that you have selected Eros Coffee House to serve coffee and beverages to your customers, and wish that you apply the resources to promote our coffee appropriately. The following guidelines will ensure the proper use of our brand identity. Our brand is vital that our outreach presents the company consis-tently throughout our customers. By applying these guidelines, you will strengthen the EROS Coffee House brand image.

The Eros Coffee House logo is the visual representation of the brand. Our logo serves as a positive expression of EROS Coffee House’s uniqueness.

In keeping with our brand personality, our logo is straight-forward and simple. It is rendered to maximize visual ap-peal and effectiveness and qualities that grow increasingly important in a competitive marketplace.

The logo’s bottom left illustrates our provenance through the use of Eros’s bow and arrow as part of the Greek My-thology in our logo. Our logo brings virancy and clarity and reflects the integrity of our brand.

Consistence to the color guidelines will provide a sense of visbility and recognition of your associ-ation with our brand.

The Eros Coffee House Logo may ONLY be used in the color combinations shown here. Care should be taken that the background upon which it lies allows it to read with sufficient prominence.

One-color black logo/One-color reserve logo use is limited to one-color or two-color printing where Eros Coffee House primary colors is not available.

Inappropriate use

1.Do not use fonts other than those on brand.

2. Do not mix or stray from the color palette.

3. Do not stretch, distort or tilt mark (note: always hold shift down when resizing to main-tain aspect ratio.

4. Do not use backgrounds without sufficient contrast.

5. Do not apply other design elements such as circles, box-es, lines, or borders to the logo without permission.

To protect the integrity, legibility and impact of the EROS Coffee House logo, please follow the guidelines laid out thought this document. Spe-cific application and reproduction techniques should also be considered when using the mark.

Minimum Clear SpaceAlways try to maintain the minimum clear space around the EROS Coffee House Logo to preserve its integrity. To maintain visual clarity and to provide maximum impact, the logo must never appear to be linked to or a part of a copy, integrated into photog-raphy or incorporated into other graphic elements.

Typography plays an important role in communi-cating the overall tone and quality of EROS Cof-fee House.

Lake Wobegon NF is a sans-serif font that dif-fers from many popular san serifs, giving EROS Coffee House a more unique and greek look, and also having the visual correlation between the font and the logo (The “E” and the bow and arrow).

Helvetica Neue trends the line between ap-proachable and corporate. Being classic enough to be inconspicous but relevant enough to appeal to the target market.

The Lake Wobegon NF font family and Helvetica Neue font family is to be used for all promotional material in all formats.

Photography

By using imagery that focuses on people and what is imporant to them, we demon-strate our purpose. Along with capturing EROS Coffee House’s personality, these images demonstrate the role EROS plays in the day-to-day lives of our customers.

Imagery should capture authentic life inter-actions and expressions between people who happen to be caught in the moment. Avoid imagery where people are intention-ally looking at the camera as this loses the spontaneity of capturing a moment in time.
