With a touch of a finger, click of a mouse or point of a tablet pen, on-air talent can illustrate, emphasize, and highlight their coverage.

Draw directly over your live video source to follow the action as it happens. A programmable overlay display on a touch screen gives the operator simple point-and-click control of all functions. An additional commentator can join in with a second touch screen for simultaneous illustration, adding extra dimension to coverage.*

Draw Lines, Curves, Arrow, T-Bars and More with EaseThe intuitive toolbar menu automatically prioritizes and dynamically positions the toolsets currently in use. Graphic elements are easily available and can be instantly brought into the scene. Draw naturally, as if using a pen; freehand brushes feature user-set size, transparency and color. Create line segments and multi-point curves with arrowheads and T-bars to draw the eye to the action. Curves can be built from lines or elements such as weather front graphics.

Add Graphics and Flipbooks, Spotlight the ActionA virtually unlimited number of animated and static logos or other graphics can be dragged and dropped over live or recorded video and graphic backgrounds of adjustable transparency. A drawing tool can be specified to follow the placement of a graphic, so that after a headshot, logo or other graphic is placed on the screen, a line or curve can immediately be drawn without the need to select it. A customizable, moveable spotlight can highlight and follow a point of interest. CodiStrator HD/SD also features integrated DDR/VTR control for instant replay of video segments.

Import AXIS Maps, Charts, Graphs for Enhanced Coverage Chyron Online’s AXIS Graphics provides powerful tools for quickly creating static and animated maps, news, weather and financial graphics, charts and graphs in a web-hosted, self-serve environment. AXIS pulls real-time data from feed services to render graphics with the most up-to-date information, which can then be immediately imported for use in CodiStrator HD/SD. Reporters, sportscasters and presenters can interact with and illustrate up-to-date weather maps, financial information, charts and graphs for even more informative and exciting coverage. AXIS Graphics is a separately purchased Chyron service.
