➊ Use both manuals for coding the items of the HCR-20 (items H6-H10 with the additional guidelines in the FAM) and the items of the FAM.

➋ Mark (a maximum of 6) critical items for the HCR-20 and FAM: which items are the most important risk factors for this woman?

➌ Make the final risk rating for violence to others.

➍ Make the three additional risk ratings (experimental):

- Self-destructive behavior (e.g., self-harm, suicide attempt)- Victimization (e.g., victim of domestic violence)- Non-violent criminal behavior (e.g., property offenses,

fraud)
