Certified Coder Boot Camp®—Inpatient Version is an intensive coding education course on hospital inpatient facility services coding and DRG assignment. The course not only explains the basic classification of DRGs, but requires attendees to use Ingenix’s DRG Expert to manually assign the DRG for all case studies. ExpErT TrAiNErSShannon E. McCall RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CCDSMcCall is the director of HIM and coding for HCPro, Inc. She oversees all of the Certified Coder Boot Camp programs. Shannon developed the Certified Coder Boot Camp®—Inpatient Version,, the Evaluation and Management Boot Camp, the HCPro ICD-10 Beyond the Basics program as well as the Certified Coder Boot Camp- ICD-10 versions. As a lead regulatory specialist for HCPro’s Revenue Cycle Institute, McCall works with hospitals, medical practices, and other healthcare providers on a wide range of coding-related custom education sessions.
Jennifer Avery CCS, CPC-I, CPC-HAvery is an instructor for the Certified Coder Boot Camp® live and online versions, the Certified Coder Boot Camp®—Inpatient Version, and the Certified Coder Boot Camp®—ICD-10 Version.
