Layout: Most magazine contents pages i looked at use ‘Contents’ as the masthead of the page as well as repeating the name or logo of the magazine next to this masthead. The colour scheme of the cover page also mirrors the contents page in order to create some fluidity for the magazine. A blurb of sorts is also positioned to either side of the page which features all of the articles in the magazine with page references. This is next to a main image mostly of a single subject in a long shot up to a close up but all of the images will always use direct address in order to grab the attention of the consumer. Design: The colour scheme of the cover is used in the contents page also. Fonts and style of writing is also consistent with the rest of the magazine as well, colours will compliment the main image whilst also making either the entire image or specific parts of it stand out a lot from the rest of the page to keep the consumers attention on the product. Content Features: The contents page will contain brief references to article titles and contents and also include a page reference to them in order to allow to consumer to find a specific article much easier. These references are split up into sections through the use of blocks, colour and also headings. The content used in the references should be engaging enough to encourage the reader to look at a specific article and then the rest of the magazine.
