By: Mason Jones
The possible short-term effects of cocaine are -
loss of appetite; faster breathing; raised heart rate; raised blood pressure; an increase in body temperature which leads to sweating; dilated pupils; and strange, erratic, at times violent behavior
The possible long-term effects of cocaine are -
contraction of infectious diseases if cocaine is injected; abscesses if cocaine is injected; malnutrition and weight loss; disorientation; indifference; exhaustion and disorientation as a result of sleeplessness; a heightened tolerance to the effects of the drug; a strong psychological dependence on the drug; and a state similar to paranoid psychosis (with continued use of the drug).
Over 34 million Americans had used cocaine at least once in their lifetime .
.
2.4 percent of 8th graders had used cocaine, 1.4 percent in the last year, and .6 percent in the last month.

Cocaine is one of the worst things you can put in your body ,Here’s why…
Mainly, cocaine makes you breathe heavier, harder and forces your heart to pump much faster. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure goes through the roof, and your body temperature rises. This kind of over-activity can cause some serious permanent damage if the drug is taken over a period of time….it's not terribly uncommon for a frequent user to suffer heart attacks or respiratory failure, partly because of all of this wear-and-tear!
This is how taking cocaine & driving can end up…
A word of advice to you… DON’T TAKE COCAINE!!!!!!!!!
