What is Coaching and How Is It Unique? Coaching is a supportive process that focusses on creating a bright future. Utilizing the teachers intuitive mind as a guide to achieve his or her goals, coaching builds on a teachers talents and strengths. Coaching is different than other forms of support:
Therapy (concerned primarily with the past)
Consulting (providing solutions)
Training (teaching skills sets)
Mentoring (sharing wisdom and experience)
Coaching is a facilitation process to assist teachers to realize and access their own solutions within and learn to trust in their own intuitive brilliance to create success. Coaches may also sometimes act as mentors, but are primarily focused on the coaching process. Coaching is based on an observed trait in human beings: a built in desire to grow and change to improve themselves.

Within the program structure, coaches and teachers have the flexibility to select coaching themes that best serve the needs of the teacher. They will decide on meeting dates, times, and venue (phone, Skype, google hangout, etc.), that are the most effective for them.
4. The program duration will be for six months maximum, depending on the frequency of contacts, i.e. one contact a month, or other timing to be worked out by the coach and teacher.
