Some important guidelines:For Varsity Teams, Special Student Groups, and Accredited Organizations
All groups are obliged to cooperate and to follow the policies imposed by the Editorial Board with regard to the theme/concept of the group pictorials, as these will affect the outcome of the yearbook. The Editorial Board has the authority to cancel/discontinue the pictorial of a particular student group if its members fail to comply with or go against the Editorial Board’s policies.
Click here for list of student groups eligible for free group shots.1.All varsity teams, special student groups and accredited student organizations, are encouraged to have a
group shot to be featured in the yearbook.2.Special student groups, accredited student organizations and varsity teams are given the privilege to have
their group pictorials (with one (1) 8×10 printout) for free.3.Varsity teams should wear their official Ateneo uniform while special student groups, accredited
organizations, their official org shirt, or any attire that would distinguish the team/organization and present uniformity among its members. The Loyola Schools dress code and other LS policiesfound in the LS Handbook will be enforced.
4.Only minimal props will be allowed.5.A maximum of 50 students will be accommodated as part of a group shot.

The Assembly, the Political Science organization of the Ateneo de Manila University, condemns in the highest possible terms, the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the farmers to again choose between stock or land distribution in the ownership of their lands.Centuries have passed since the very first line of Marx’s The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte[1] was written, but until now the strength due to the truth it contains is as tyrannical as ever, as resonant as ever. Until now, there is still yet to be a better way to put into words the recent fiasco regarding Hacienda Luisita than those spoken by Marx: “Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce”[2]. The son (President Benigno Aquino III) has taken the place of the mother (Corazon Aquino), has inherited the glory and the tragedy of the past. The Aquino regime has inherited the same inadequacies, the same ineptitude, the same indecision, the same injustice; the same ghosts of injustice persist in their haunting, and continues to loom over the realm of Filipino politics, “…like a nightmare on the brains of the living”[3].
