Co-operative College of Nursing envisioned
in 2007 by G.Karunakaran Memorial
Educational Society to mould a new
generation of professional Nurses with the
knowledge, skill and attitude to provide
nursing care to the sick and the disabled and
to bring new innovations in the field of Nursing
education. The college is recognized by
Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and
Midwives Council and affiliated to Kerala
University of Health Sciences.
This prospectus contains general information
and rules relating to admission to BSc Nursing
& PBBSc Nursing under management quota
as authorised and enabled by the decisions
of the Honorable High court of Kerala and the
Supreme Court of India. Candidates are
requested to go through the prospectus
carefully and acquaint themselves with all
relevant information.This prospectus is subjected to modification/
addition/ deletion as may be deemed
necessary by the management and
subjected to the judgment of Honorable
courts of Law.

Management Quota 50%
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) The minimum age for admission must be 17
years on or before 31st December of the year
of admission. Candidates, who have passed the higher
secondary examination of the Board of
Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or any
examination recognized equivalent there to
with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and English put together are eligible. Candidates who have passed qualifying
examination from outside Kerala, should
produce recognition certif icate and
equivalency of qualifying examination from
the Kerala University of Health Sciences,
Thrissur.It is the responsibility of the candidate to
ensure that the qualifying examination
he/she passed is recognized by the Kerala
University of Health Sciences.Candidate should produce migration
certificate if required.Candidate must be medically fit.
Candidates who have passed Higher
Secondary or +2 examination with Physics
Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects
with aggregate of 45% marks or any other
equivalent examination approved by Kerala
University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.assed the
General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM)
examination conducted by the State Nursing
Council / Examining Board recognized by INC
with 55% aggregate marks.Candidate should possess Kerala Nursing
Council registration at the time of application.
The upper age limit for joining the course is 45
years.Candidate must be medically fit.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
FEE STRUCTURE
15% of the total management seats are for NRI category by admitting qualified students who are dependents of NRIs. As per Government order “An applicant who depends upon his/her Father/Mother /Brothers and sisters (inclusive of first cousins) /Husband /Wife/Brothers and Sisters (inclusive of first cousins of Father or Mother/Half Brother/Half Sister/Adopted father or Adopted mother who is working abroad will only be eligible to apply in the NRI category seats.
The candidates who seek admission under the MANAGEMENT QUOTA must qualify the interview and examination conducted by the college.
Candidates should bring the entire documents in original for verification during interview.
Fees for the courses will be in accordance with the norms of Government of Kerala and Admission & Fee Regulatory Committee. Apart from tuition fee, special fee and refundable caution deposit, students are required to pay administration / affiliation fee / examination fee etc. payble to the university

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the campus. All the members of the college are committed to abolish ragging in the campus. Hence any student who indulged in any form of ragging will subject to penal actions as per provision of law. Also the student will be expelled from the college as detailed in the law concerned.
Candidate should submit an under taking on a stamped paper regarding abstain from ragging.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION AND REFUND
SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
Those students who leave the course after the closure of the admission will have to pay liquidated damages equivalent to the tuition fees for the remaining period of the course.
