The +CityxChange vision is to enable the co-creation of the future we want to live in. business models that will deliver positive energy communities, integrating e-Mobili-ty as a Service (eMaaS). The +CityxChange project is developing and deploying Positi-ve Energy Blocks and Districts (PEB/PED) and scaling these out as part of the European Clean Energy Transition in cities.

PÍSEKThe city of Písek is expecting to design positive energy blocks and districts in which the Municipal house, the newly designed parking house and some of the primary school buildings or kindergartens will be engaged. The cooperation with the private sector is essential for the project. The intention is to involve also the Technology Centre Písek and the Centre of Low Energy Buildings which are located in the brownfield area. The municipal house is located in the historical-protected area. Parking house and some schools are located in the broader centre.

The municipalipality building and schools have been revitalized recently through exploiting energy performance contracting. The parking house is in a planning phase. The Centre of Low Energy Buildings has large installation of PVs and battery storages. The Technology Centre is a data centre where necessary data are being collected in order to design planned ecosystems of positive energy blocks and districts. The main law governing energy trade is called Energy Act. Currently, it is a subject of change. The peer-to-peer energy trading is expected to be enabled in the upcoming version.
