‘Real Lives’ and ‘Standing Up, Speaking Out’ We are a group run by and for people with learning disabilities who

want to enable people like us to become

self-advocates and make decisions about the services we receive.

We want to make those in power involve us when they make decisions about us and how we live.

We do this by -Organising meetings about issues which affect us -Inviting speakers who are experts in these issues to speak to our group -Going to conferences and meetings about learning disabilities in Cardiff and the Vale -Going on Marches and demonstrations about the issues we feel most strongly about -Training other people to Stand Up and Speak Out!!
