Navigation This reference guide is a review of the new navigational functionality in the CMIS 6.1 upgrade. Although the ‘look and feel’ has changed, this guide will walk users through the steps to easily transition from character to the web application. Logging on CMIS 6.1 is launched through the internet using (IE) Internet Explorer.

1. On a Selection line, type in the Module + the name of the selection (i.e. JC INSIGHT).

Navigation Viewing reports There are three ways to view a report:

1. Use PRINT 1

Keyboard shortcuts for navigating within the report for PRINT 1 Home key = Go to top of the report End key = Go to the bottom of the report Control + F = Enter search criteria Down Arrow = Navigate down the page Up Arrow = Navigate up the page Control + A = Select All

2. Use the STATUS screen and click on the report number (green box) to launch the Report Viewer.

Several advantages of using the Report Viewer through the STATUS screen over PRINT 1, is that the Report Viewer allows you to preview the reports before and after with a click of a button, and it will launch large size reports. PRINT 1 will not launch excessively large reports.

View output for the previous report number by clicking ‘Prev’. View output for the next report number by clicking ‘Next’. Print the document using browser print settings by clicking ‘Print Document’ Click on ‘Close Report Viewer’ to return to STATUS screen
