Carnatic category in 2009. Ramakrishnan has performed in quite a few centers across North America including CMANA in 2015, and at all major sabhas in India. He is currently based in Chennai, and has had the rare privilege of being accompanied in concerts by many stalwarts of the present day such as Delhi P Sunderrajan, RK Shriramkumar, Nagai Muralidharan, the Mysore brothers - Nagaraj and Manjunath, Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, Trichy Sankaran, and Guruvayur Dorai. He has a Computer Science degree from UC Irvine and is an A-grade artist of the All India Radio and Doordarshan, Chennai.

Ranjani andGayatri

Ranjani and Gayatri started their violin training at the early age of nine and six respectively from Sangita Bhooshanam Prof. T.S. Krishnaswami at the Shanmukhan-anda Sangeeta Vidyalaya, Mumbai. The sisters achieved success as violin duet performers, and subsequently they also proved successful as violin accompanists. Both Ranjani and Gayatri have accompanied various artists

CharumathiRaghuraman

Charumathi Raghuraman started learning first from her mother Smt. Rama Raghuraman, then continued formalized training with the respected Guru Smt. T. R. Balamani. She then became the disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri TN Krishnan, and she played her debut concert alongside Prof. T. N. Krishnan in 1998. Since then has been performing regularly both as a soloist and accompanist. She was awarded the

CCR &T, Government of India scholarship in violin from 1998. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including Outstanding Young Violinist from the Music Academy in 2007, Best Violinist Award from Krishna Gana Sabha and Indian Fine Arts Society. She has travelled widely across India and around the world and has collaborated with the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra.

Delhi Sairam

He is a disciple of Kalaimamani Mridangam Maestro Thiruvarur Shri. Bhaktavatsalam. He has several accolades to his credit and has accompanied eminent and popular musicians. Special mention should be made of the Ambujam Krishna award that he received from the Madras Music Academy in the Spirit of Youth festival held in 2003.

Perfection of sruti (pitching), powerful voice control, rich imagination and impeccable aesthetics reflect the timeless values of their classicism. Most of the abhangs they sing at the end of their concerts have been set to music by the sisters. They have received numerous awards – including the prestigious title of Vani Kala Sudhakara from Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha and the Lifetime Achievement award from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 2013.

RajeevMukundan

Rajeev Mukundan is a sishya of Sangeethasaagara A. Kanyakumari. He initially learnt from Sri Govindarajan, and received a scholarship from the Government of India from 2001 to 2009 to pursue music. He has received numerous awards, including the best violinist award from Parthasarathy Swami Sabha in December 2013, the Best Violinist Award from the Music Academy in 2011, and the Spirit of Youth Award from the Music Academy in 2008. He has accompanied most major leading artists including TVS, TM Krishna, Ranjani-Gayatri, Sanjay, Bombay Jayashree and Vijay Siva.

Trichy Sankaran

Sangeetha Kalanidhi Trichy Sankaran had his early musical training under his cousin Sri P.A. Venkatara-man. Sankaran then came under the direct tutelage of the legendary mrdangam maestro the late Sri Palani Subramania Pillai. Sankaran made his formal arangetram (musical debut) at the age of 13, in

the year 1955, performing in tandem with Sri Palani Subramania Pillai in the concert of Sri Alathoor Brothers, and Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. Shankaran has had the privilege of performing with many past maestros, including Ariyakkudi Ramanuja Iyengar, Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagavatar, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, Madurai Mani Iyer, G.N. Balasubramaniam, Alathoor Brothers, Mudikondan Venkatarama Iyer, Flute T.N. Swaminatha Pillai. He is a founder of the annual Tyagaraja Festival in Toronto, and has received numerous awards – including Sangeetha Kalanidhi in 2012 from the Music Academy, Vishwa Kala Bharathi from Bharat Kalachar, Tala Kalai Arasu from the Bharathi Kala Manram of Toronto and Tala Vadya Prakasha by CMANA. His collab orative works have enabled the successful integration of Indian and mainstream Canadian culture.www.cmana.org

Sandeep Narayan was born into a family of musicians and music lovers in Cerritos, California. After undergo-ing his initial training in Los Angeles from his mother Smt. Shubha Narayan, Sandeep received advanced lessons from the revered musicologist Calcutta Sri K.S. Krishnamurthy in Chennai. After Sri Krishnamurthy’s

demise in 1999, Sandeep began training under the well-known vocalist, Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan. Upon completing his Bachelor’s degree in Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006, Sandeep made the permanent move to Chennai. Sandeep has completed concert tours of North America, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, and is regularly accompanied by leading artists in the field. He has received numerous awards, including the Best Concert Award, The Music Academy Madras for multiple years.

H N Baskar

He was first under the guidance of his parents Vidwan Shri. H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Smt. H.N. Rajalakshmi. His father was a renowned violinist and staff artist of the All India Radio, Mysore. Shri. Bhaskar later moved to Chennai to study music at the University of Madras and came under the wings of violin maestro Padmashri Sangeetha Kalanidhi Shri. M.S. Gopalakrishnan. His gave his debut when he was eight years old and has given solo performances since. His melodious style has helped him accompany leading vocalists in the field. He has traveled widely and has received several awards. In the late nineties he was part of a popular music band called "Antaragn”.

Patri SatishKumar

His gurus are some of the great Mridangam players from Andhra, Sri Ramachandramurthy, V.A. Swami and V. Narasimhan. Satish was inspired into the world of Percussion right from childhood by his mother Padmavathy, a renowned violinist. He played his first concert at the young age of 7. Satish is the Asthana Vidwan

of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham and for over 30 years he has accom-panied all the top ranking artists in concerts all over the world. He is one of the youngest A rated mridangam artist of the AIR. An exponent of Classical, Fusion and Jazz percussion, he is a very innovative artist and has played in many international festivals. He is a ranked "A" artist of the AIR and is well known for his spontaneity, fine artistry and deft fingering techniques.
