General Description
The respondent will upgrade the existing Public AddressSystem with the most current hardware/softwarecomponents including, text for display on video monitor,text to audio, and audio to audio paging for Terminals,1,2,3,and 5, Bus Shuttle Center, ATS, ATS Control Center,Pedestrian Tunnels, EPS and outdoor parking lots. Therespondent will evaluate the existing systems and reuseexisting infrastructure i. e., speakers, speaker cabling,conduit and ambient noise sensors. General Description
Scope of work includes the use of helical piles adjacent to thetoe of the footing and anchoring the helical pile system to theconcrete toe. Structural and cosmetic concrete repairs will beutilized in areas where the concrete has delaminated orwhere the wall has large cracks. Weep holes will be providedto allow trapped water to release onto the roadway insteadof contributing to the deterioration of the wall. A newconcrete cap will replace the existing one and a new coat ofelastomeric paint will cover the entire wall. This project isunfunded at this time.

General Description
This project, currently in planning, includes the milling and bituminous overlay of the portion of the runway that has asphalt surface as well as the adjacent taxiways up to the mandatory hold bar. The in-pavement runway lights and bases including runway centerline, runway touchdown zone, LAHSO, runway edge, and taxiway centerline will be removed and replaced. New conduit connecting these lights will also be replaced along with the lighting cable for each circuit – including a new home run to the North Lighting Control Vault.

This includesapproximately 1500 lf of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC)taxiway 75 foot wide with 30 foot bituminous shoulders.The taxiway is designed to accommodate aircraft as largeas the Boeing 747-8 and will be designed to FAA TaxiwayDesign Group (TDG) 6 standards. General Description
This project will provide the design and construction of a series of terminal improvements which will allow the Airbus A380to effectively load and unload passengers at O’Hare International Airport. The designer is tasked with validating the designcriteria and evaluating the terminals ticketing hall, security check point, departure lounges / holdrooms, passenger loadingbridges, arrival passenger processing, and baggage handling / baggage claim areas. The evaluation will confirm whetherany modifications are necessary to maintain the existing level of service. Based on the design criteria analysis findings andplanning evaluations, an overall building master plan and three options for gate improvements will be developed to 30%with one selected to progress to move forward. Construction is anticipated to commence early 2016.

Design, fabricate and install a Static Large Frame Aircraft(LFA) mockup in front of the current mockup (Burn PitRemains Same Size). The O’Hare’s Aircraft Rescue andFire Fighting (ARFF) training facilities current mockup isbased on a narrow body aircraft. It is considerablysmaller than aircraft ARFF personnel actually facethroughout day-to-day operations. The LFA mockup willbe approximately 70 feet long, 20 feet in diameter, and35 feet high with an option for wings extending 50 feetfrom the center of the mockup.

The scope of this project includes an initial investigationof the existing conditions that will recommend a multi-system approach. As part of the process, the vendorwill analyze the H&R Plant and design a system that willbe applicable to the existing equipment in the space.New technologies in fire suppression allow industrialspaces such as the plant to be protected withoutjeopardizing the critical equipment in this building.
