Welcome Cadets, Faculty, & Friends On behalf of the Carolina Military Academy Alumni Association, Board of Di-rectors, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 9th Annual CMA Reunion. It has been 49 years since the founding of our great school and I am thankful to all of the previous officers of this organization for having the leadership an foresight to put these wonderful events together and bring all of these ladies and gentlemen back together as a group to celebrate our CMA heritage. I have had the great pleasure of attending every CMA Annual & Regional Re-union since we started and what a time I have had. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming reacquainted with all my old classmates and buddies over the years and I have also enjoyed meeting some of the classmates from our later years. Please make yourself at home and enjoy all of the events that we have planned for you this weekend. Randy has worked hard to find out what the cadets wanted at this reunion and I think that he has laid out a great program with something for everyone. Be sure to join us for the CMA Business meeting Saturday morning at 10 AM in the Bali Ballroom and stay up-to-date with our schedule by using the tear-out schedule in this program. 13 May 2011 Welcome Carolina Military Alumni Association I would like to welcome all of my fellow classmates of the Carolina Military Academy Alumni Association in town to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the founding of Carolina Military Academy in Maxton NC. I am es-pecially proud to welcome these cadets and faculty members from my old alma mater to our beautiful city and hope that they enjoy their visit. I have very fond memories of this school and would like to thank the staff and faculty for the job they did to help me find confidence and direction in my life. The City of Myrtle Beach is proud to have this organization and these individuals visiting our city.
