Dear Clover Kids and Parents,
Thank you for joining us in 4-H Clover Kids this year! We have a
great time with all of you! I hope to see all of you back next year either
as a 4-H club member or in the Clover Kids program.
Now that you and your parents know what 4-H is all about, we
would like to invite each Clover Kid member to be a part of the Wapello
County 4-H Expo. This year’s Expo will be held July 12th-16th, 2016.
There are many opportunities that will give you a chance to participate
at the Expo and check out yet another aspect of the 4-H program.
Project exhibits is an opportunity to share with family and visi-
tors at the Expo, something you have done or learned. We have tables
for each of the clubs 4-H members to display their projects. The Clover
Kids Afterschool club will have their own booth!
Do you have an art project that are proud of? Have you done a
science experiment you’d like to display? Maybe you baked some cook-
ies? How about a special poster or picture you have drawn? Maybe even
something that we’ve done in Clover Kids like our rockets! Whatever it is,
you may bring 10 projects to the Expo on Tuesday, July 12th to be judged
and those will be displayed in your Club’s booth!
General Guidelines:
Attire: Your 4-H Clover kid will be required to wear their 4-H t-shirt,
jeans or dark pants, and closed toed shoes while showing projects and
livestock. Clothing should be neat and clean for Judging.
All Livestock housed on Expo grounds must have adequate feed and wa-
ter at all times, and the pens must be kept clean.
