CLOUD EPC

ABOUT: Cloud EPC is a cloud-based progress & performance measurement

system based on rules of credit. It offers the ability to track detailed

physical progress at all phases of a project including Engineering,

Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.

METHODOLOGY:

The Cloud EPC system seeks to remove subjectivity of progress

measurement by applying a standard rules of credit model. Each

activity or progress item is broken down into appropriately weighted

milestone steps in order to accurately report work in progress. The

system is extremely dynamic allowing activities to be progressed

using percent complete, date completed, quantity installed or a

simple checkbox for complete or not.

KEY BENEFITS:

Cloud EPC will help reduce the amount of quantity surveyors required

on your projects by streamlining data input. The system also provides

the ability to allow subcontractors to login and access only their

progress items for routine updates. This will allow more time spent

on data analysis rather than data entry, a vital role of project controls.

Enterprise level historical project archiving ensures that no data goes

to waste. Data from all past and active projects can be filtered, sorted,

averaged and compared in order to leverage benchmarking for

change orders, estimates or proposals.

AVAILABILITY:

Cloud EPC is due for a full production launch in June, 2015. A beta

version of the software is currently being used on two Wood Pellet

projects in Ontario, Canada.



KEY FEATURES Offers a modern user interface (UI) developed using MS SQL/HTML5.

Can be opened on a desktop, mobile or tablet device leveraging a row and column pivot

system that works similar to Microsoft Excel.

Progress updates can be completed directly in the software system, through excel imports

or via an email form, greatly reducing data entry time and the number of personnel

required to track progress.

Offers user access control to allow or prevent users from accessing or editing particular

data.

Provides a fully auditable history log of all changes made to the database from creation to

close out tracked at the user level.

Archives all project data making it easy to access, compare and benchmark historical

projects to help refine and increase confidence in estimate development, change orders

and project proposals.

Offers the ability to code various progress items to a particular contractor and allow that

contractor to log in and update their progress items only.

Provides performance factors at the control budget or deliverable level through integration

with financial/payroll systems.

Easily integrates activity progress with existing scheduling systems including Primavera P6

and Microsoft Project.

Includes a fully integrated change management system and change management log.

Modern template or custom reports that can be exported to Microsoft Word, Excel or

PowerPoint.

Interactive real-time project overview dashboards with drill down functionality.

Smart attachment filing by tagging relevant drawings, progress pictures, contracts or notes

at either the project or progress item level.

Projects are easily setup by loading all of the project structural data (disciplines, milestones, WBS etc) or by loading the structure

Managing and updating progress items is made simple through a searchable data grid with pivot table like functionality.



BUDGET MANAGEMENT

Load original budgets in the Budget control table and manage deviations through the integrated change management log.



DASHBOARD REPORTING

Each project maintains an interactive reporting dashboard fed by real time project data.
