What is CloudCamp? Cloud Camp, just like Bar Camp, is an unconference where early adopters of Cloud Computing technologies come together to exchange ideas. At Cloud Camp, we are encouraged to share our thoughts in several open discussions, as we strive for the advancement of Cloud Computing. We meet to share our •  experience with the cloud

Brief History •  Founders include Dave Nielsen (Lead Global Organizer),

Reuven Cohen, Chris Purrington, Alexis Richardson, Sara Dornsife, Jessie Silver and Sam Charrington.

•  The first Cloud Camp was held on June 24, 2008 in San Franscisco, California USA.

•  As of May, 2011 over 180 Cloud Camp events had been conducted worldwide.

•  Cloud Camp Lagos is the first in the series of Cloud Camp events to be held around Africa.

Mission & Goals •  Cloud camp was formed to provide a common ground for

the introduction and advancement of cloud computing

•  To build an appropriate community and increase the usage of cloud technologies in companies and day-to-day activities.

•  To usher in users and enthusiast alike around the world to

the Open Space Technology culture.
