1 CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 2008 WORLD SWIM AGAINST MALARIA ON 26 TH APRIL 2008 AT KABIRA COUNTRY CLUB KAMPALA UGANDA The closing ceremony of the 2008 World Swim Against Malaria took place at the Kabira Country Club. The total distance covered was 2096 km by and over 200 pupils from various schools in Kampala. The ceremony kicked off at 7.30am at the Kabira Club Swimming Pool. CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 2008 WORLD SWIM AGAINST MALARIA ON 26TH APRIL 2008 AT KABIRA

COUNTRY CLUB KAMPALA UGANDA

The closing ceremony of the 2008 World Swim Against Malaria took place at the Kabira Country Club. The total distance covered was 2096 km by and over 200 pupils from various schools in Kampala. The ceremony kicked off at 7.30am at the Kabira Club Swimming Pool.

A very young swimmer Maya Adriko at the closing ceremony did 200m.

Participants receiving certificates from Mr Don Rukare, President of the Uganda Swimming Federation and Guest of Honour. 7 schools participated in the 2008 WSAM, Bethel Christian School 31.42km, Agakhan Primary School 77.85km, Lohana Academy 292.6km, Kampala International School Uganda 499.2km, International School of Uganda 375.23km, Kabojja Junior School 36km, Greenhill Academy 50km and Equator Swim Club 734.20
