An exchange of lay missionaries between the Philippines and other countries.Has a sending program and a receiving program.

Lay volunteers arrived in the Philippines in 1978.In response, three Filipina women served the Church in England for six years in the 1980s. The next team composed of 3 women were sent to Pakistan in October 1990.The Philippines received its first lay missionaries - 6 Koreans - in June 1990.

AT PRESENT,
There are 11 Filipino LMs on long term (more than 6 years of service), and 14 on short term.
There are 3 Filipino LMs in Pakistan, 7 in Ireland, 3 in Korea, 1 in Fiji, 2 in Peru, 3 in Taiwan, 2 in the Philippines, 1 on special assignment and three are preparing to go to Britain.
Columban LMs also serve in Chile and Japan.

Receiving Program
The CLM also receives lay missionaries coming from other countries where Columbans work.
So far, we have received 16 teams of single men and women, a couple, and a family. They came from Korea, Chile, Ireland, Britain, Fiji,Tonga, and Peru.
